Over the next few days I’ll be attending and speaking at the ATD Conference and Expo in Orlando Florida. One of the things I like about attending industry events other than the ones I host for The eLearning Guild is that I have more availability to meet and connect with other attendees when I’m not playing host. With that in mind, I wanted to share some of the places you can find me if you’re going to be at the conference next week.
Meet me in Orlando
If you’re attending the conference, I’d love to connect. It’s a great opportunity to talk about projects, and share the stories of your work. If you’ve ever been interested in learning more about how to get involved (or more involved) in the eLearning Guild community, Let’s schedule time to chat. I’m in town through Wednesday. I’ll be at the conference center each day attending sessions, visiting the expo, meeting with colleagues, and updating the curated conference backchannel resources. Please feel free to reach out via email or on Twitter to set up some time to meet.
Come to My Session
I’ll also be speaking at the conference Monday afternoon at 1pm. My topic is Exploring the Expanded Talent Development Ecosystem. This discussion focuses on the expanded scope of how people learn and receive support in heir work, and developing an understanding of where we have influence, where we do not, and what we can do to maximize employee performance. It’s a different way of looking at our work that mirrors a lot of what we see in nature’s ecosystems. I hope you’ll join me and add your voice to this conversation.
I’m excited to meet with friends new and old over the next few days. If you see me walking in the halls or sitting in a session, please stop by and say hi. I’ll be the guy wearing eLearning Guild blue.
If you’d like to schedule some time to meet, send me a note and let’s connect.
See you in Orlando.
