Connect with me at Learning Solutions 2016 – #LSCon

LSConOver the next few days I’ll be hosting and speaking at the Learning Solutions Conference & Expo in Orlando Florida. Here’s where you can find me this week.

Sessions

In addition to hosting the three keynote sessions I’ll also be speaking in three sessions during the conference:

A Look Ahead: The Now and the Next of Learning and Technology (Wednesday 3/16 at 2:30pm)

This session explores the technologies that are changing the ways we live and work and the implications that has on our work as learning and performance professionals.

Curation: Moving Beyond the Buzzword (Wednesday 3/16 at 4:00pm)

Curation is a passion of mine, and this session explores curation beyond just the buzzwords, examining where it fits, and where is doesn’t ft, within the learning and performance support ecosystem.

Ignite! Meme-ing the Innovative World of Learning (Thursday 3/17 at 4:00pm)

We’ve done these Meme–focused Ignite sessions at DevLearn and they were a lot of fun. We bring the format to Learning Solutions for the first time with a focus on innovation. I’ll be presenting as will Jeannette Campos, Cammy Bean, & Jane Bozarth.

But Wait, There’s More!

IMG_5883 (2)There are a number of other parts of the conference I’ll be a part of that I’m looking forward to. The Expo Reception (Wednesday 3/16 at 5:00pm) is a fun and relaxed opportunity to connect with other attendees and visit the booths in the expo hall (It’s also one of the best times to grab my ear for a quick chat)

After the reception I’ll be headed to host Game Crawl (Wednesday 3/16 at 6:30pm). This is the 4th year in a row we’re hosting Game Crawl, and we’re expecting it to be the biggest one yet. I actualy packed a second suitcase just for games to support the event. It’s always a good time, so bring your friends and join us for a few hours of games, learning, and fun.

DemoFest (Thursday 3/17 at 5:00pm) is always one of my favorite parts of a Guild conference. You’re sure to find me wandering the aisles checking out projects and exploring learning technologies in action.

On the final morning of the conference I will be hosting a Morning Buzz  (Friday 3/18 at 7:30am) exploring How to Write a Winning Conference Speaking Proposal. If you’ve ever wondered what factors might help your proposal to speak be accepted by a conference,  join me early Friday as we explore tips for getting your next proposal accepted.

See You in Orlando!

I’m excited to meet with friends new and old over the next few days. If you see me around the Hilton, please stop by and say hi.
